Designed to impart a flat and true polished finish to all small cutting tools. Suitable for finishing fly cutters, gravers, small drills.
The Polishing Tool is held in the bench vice when being operated. The tool being sharpened is first ground to shape on a hand grinder
and then transferred to the Lapping and Polishing Tool. Two holders are supplied, one for square tools and the other for round.

Polishing is achieved by laps held in guides that have two grades of diamond shim bonded to them. The final finish is with a fine grade ceramic stone. This imparts a highly polished finish to the cutting edge of the tool, which in turn will transfer this finish to the work being cut.

There is virtually no limit to angled cutting faces that can be polished as both the lap and tool holder can be rotated through 360'. Facility is also included for the lap holder to rotate on the main body.
